The finishing line is in sight.
The Munich Marathon is one of the most popular sporting events in Germany. Each year more than 10,000 people take part in this race which passes through the capital of Bavaria and notably its verdant park, the Englischer Garten (English Garden).
Specialists in this discipline come here to prove themselves and regularly raise the performance bar. The runners must demonstrate good tactical skills and great mental strength in order to cross the finishing line, and will certainly appreciate a little encouragement from the sidelines.
